    Just installed them chiefs.

They installed super duper fast oles.
Seems like everything is okay so far.

Nice new video convertor in CCC. I will be using that oles.

So far so good. + they install straight onto the 5870s without having to use any workaround method. So thats good. What we were hoping for after the new vbios update from last time.

    Cheers. :)

but i don't see ATI HDMI Audio in my device manager, am I the only one ? I only see IDT HD sound and device high definition

I did a clean install (uninstall all audio driver + ATI CCC/reboot/driver sweaper/install IDT HD sound/ reboot/ install ATI CC 10.10

edit : those driver doesn't fixed my issue with HDMI

    Ok Guys,

    Quick update on BFBC2...

Playing the intro on the same settings I had in CCC (Optimal Quality and Advanced AI) for 10.8 I now get a minimum of 110 FPS passing under the rope bridge (instead of 32) and a minimum of 24 FPS when the guys are under water after being spotted, instead of 4 FPS (Using FRAPS).

    Cheers,

Yup same thing for me too chiefs. I believe it has always been this way when using the AMD reference specific drivers. Only when we are using Dells drivers will they show us the specific 5870 GPU name.

Everything is running great still so fars. I'll be testing out a few games later on and see how their performance is.

Tried FIFA11 so far and finally it seems like it is playing much smoother and more responsive. Will be trying out New Vegas and MOH Tier one later on as well. Maybe a quick test of Kompany 2 as well oles.

    Cheers. :)

Installed these drivers on my system (5870 CfX with VBIOS update) and no issues with sleep or battery mode. Didn't really test temps but fans whine up a lot less compared to 10.8.

These are AMD reference drivers so yeh you will need to update them.

The GPU drivers your notebook most likely shipped with will be the ones from the Dell drivers and support page website. You will also need to double check your vbios version to see if it is rocking the newest latest vbios revision.

It seems a few people who ordered their new systems and just recently got them this week still had the old vbios version running on their GPUs. So the had to update that themselves.

When you get your system run GPU-z 4.7 and post up a pic here if you like and we can double check for your whether or not your running the latest drivers and vbios.

    Cheers. :)

MSAA is probably coded only for 68xx series GPU, and from the changelog, 10.10a is optimized toward 68xx series only.

this is quoted from the site link you posted

"That kind of implies that MLAA is not yet currently working for the HD 5000 cards, which itself is disappointing ( ), but hopefully they will add it at some point. Of course, they could just keep it as an exclusive HD 6000 card feature, to encourage existing HD 5000 owners to upgrade, but that would be unfair since this fullscreen AA effect is little more than a driver hack. "

but dont be discouraged, here's another quote

"Its official, 58xx series will get the option in a later driver post 10.11s."

they are trying to mod the drivers to run on 5xxx series now. let's see how it goes, but the official one will be the best. also note, MLAA apparently only works with DX9 games now. no joy for DX10/11

Guys is it worth installing the 10.10's? If so whats the best way to uninstall and reinstall the display drivers? I have had alot of conflict when changing drivers in the past.

I reckon it's worth it. I've noticed an improvement. Not sure about others. :p

All I did was uninstall the current CCC, booted into safe mode and ran Driver Sweeper, rebooted into VGA Mode (F8 on reboot) and installed 10.10.

I'm on A09 and the latest VBIOS and had no issues what so ever.
