    If anybody tries this and has Starcraft II, could you check and see if the pylon problem is fixed? I'm using 11.5b to avoid the problem now, but it'd be nice to be able to use newer drivers. I'll also check it out and report back when I'm able if nobody else can.

    I will give it a shot as I only have the drivers from the alienware resource cd. Is it suppose to be a big improvement in perf?

    It cannot be installed over the Dell driver. I've even tried with 11.6 installed over Dell driver; it does not install the driver for the GPU though it will recognize it?! Any solution is appreciated... Thank you

    I had the 11.6 driver installed for atleast 2 weeks now... But I cannot find a way to figure it out how to install 11.7 driver?!

    I will try the 11.8 preview driver. I thought someone came up with a solution for the 11.7 official driver (I am more confident in those drivers) instalation over the Dell driver and / or 11.6 driver...

    I just installed 11.7 over the top of 11.6 which i installed voer the top of stock. no issues and i verified that all drivers an componets are updated. Switching still works but brightness controls still dont....if you look at the release nots, 11.7 is mostly just bug fixes so if you arent affected by the bugs like mouse lag, etc, no rush to update from 11.6 imo. i used the direct ATi link: http://www2.ati.com/drivers/mobile/11-7_mobility_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc_ocl.exe

    Another new system will come up and God knows how many driver updates from ATi, Dell will never release another driver, soon enough...

    It looks like it works to upgrade over the stock Dell driver. The version I got first from guru3d.com is the desktop version...
