    Hi,
I'm getting and CLI.Implementation error after clean install of 12.2 'certified' drivers. This error is comming from CCC - so I cannot start it :(

Is anybody noticed this on M17x with CF5870?

    PS.
clean install means - driver sweeper, ccleaner etc.

I tried these drivers yesterday and my M17x R3 did not like them 0.0

I did the complete uninstall of old driver
    booted to safe mode
ran both driver sweeper and cc cleaner and rebooted
    then installed the dell driver

I got the usual BSOD on the first try, and it seemed successful on the second try. However after a couple of minutes I started getting a message that the display driver had stopped working.

I am going to give it another try today and see what happens.

Yeah I also BSOD'd on the first try. Really odd as the "non-certified" 12.2 driver as well as the preview 12.2 driver installed flawlessly without a BSOD. Not sure what they are doing to their "official certified" drivers...the past few have been BSOD crazy.

I definitely would too...even the pre-certified drivers worked like a champ...don't know why the certified drivers are any different...who knows

Hello I'm new here. I just got my Alienware today 1st one.I really love it.I want to install Windows 7 on an SSD I bought.Should I clone the HD or do a fresh install?Instead of using the drivers on Dell's site can I just install the latest AMD drivers? Thanks

I'm happy with my 12.1 drivers. See no reason in updating when everything works fine.

I think that's a good attitude to adopt jurge. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

^^^ i completely agree with this. AMD is coming out with drivers every month or so. I'm not upgrading again until there is a real need to to.

I tried these and I now get constant blue screens when loading games, even with stock clocks.

And now that I have rolled back to the previews, I still get the same issues.

I love how AMD drivers can absolutely destroy your system and force you to do a rebuild...

Ok so I installed these no problem and so far havent had any BSOD's...and I played Skyrim for 30 minutes without any trouble (except you still cant use Crossfire or you get flicker...)

I guess I better boot up some other games now and see if all goes to hell...

Well as luck has it I just purchased a few new drives so will be doing a clean fresh install. Will try these drivers and see if I BSOD after installing. Other then the first BSOD with them installed I haven't had another problem, but this should be a good test to determine if it was do to some residual driver, or if it's just the driver itself. Not sure what's going on with AMD these days, seems like every certified driver they release BSOD's the machines, and yet the preview drivers work like a charm.

This! I'm actually just using the Dell stock 6870M drivers and no issues with the games that I play: Skyrim, TF2, SW:TOR and Eve Online.

If I don't run into any issues, no need to fix something that isn't broken IMO. :)

Yeah I think I'm going to stick with the 12.2 preview drivers...or the pre-certified drivers...didn't have any problems with those and I just don't want to risk the 12.2 again.

I ALWAYS roll back to Dell installed drivers before installing new ones over the top of them. Works a treat every time.
