Just wait for the official 11.10 drivers on Sunday or Monday.

No. The Intel IGP driver is part of the most recent Dell 6970/6990M driver packages. If you want to install a more recent AMD/ATI reference driver, you install it over the Dell drivers, i.e., install the new drivers as if the existing Dell drivers were not present, largely to preserve the Intel driver and the switchable graphics capability. Sometimes it goes smoothly; sometimes not. There are many threads that address workarounds and different methods of installation if trouble occurs.

That one just gave me BSOD's at first I thought it was because it didnt support my system but it worked after I deselected AMD CCC so I kept the dell AMD CCC and installed newest drivers YAY! :D

edit: getting 40/50fps on ultra with MSAA on 0x the rest on the preconfigured ultra setting mode :)

    in order to achieve that:

    use throttlestop
overclock 800/1000 (every 6990M card should easily handle that)
in ingame command type: render.drawfps 1
that brings up the fps meter.

You don't need the Mobillity version, just go for the "full-specced" one off their website. Works fine for me :)
