This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I just wanted to let y'all know that the APB beta only runs through the 19th, and that if you are running CF5870's you will have to turn CF off.

    However, to be totally honest with you, you don't even miss the second card. APB runs a version of the Unreal Engine 3, and uses EXTENSIVE custom coloring and decaling on both characters and cars, and yet the thing runs like gangbusters ( pun intended ) on just one card, and that's WITH FRAPS running at full speed and capturing at full resolution AND Screen capping every 10 seconds.

    Driver issues aside, you have to marvel at the sheer power of these things when it comes to real gaming.
