    Hello All,

I am a new user of a great Alienware M17x R3 however I am trying to update the drivers for the 6990M on the ATI site and they do not seem to work .. any advice about this... Also I have seen that my computer comes with Dell Stage however I can not see it on my discs or anywhere I can download it as a back up and help with this also would be great .. I Live in the UK and the Dell support page for downloading software does not seem to work.

    Thanks

So is there any reason why the drivers I try to download off the main site don't seem to work.. is it due to the same issue Nvidia cards currently have with the M17x R3 and having to use a modded version.

Also was the 6990M the right choice out of the Nvidia 560 & 580 and the only ATI card 6990

yeah, the 6990M is a good bang for buck (also if you hate optimus...it is your ONLY option...of a 580M calber)
