    Hi, everyone!
New owner of a M17x (r2) here, and very impressed with both the machine and the great crew on this forum!

I had a quick question that I haven't been able to find a definitive answer for: the wiki refers to the latest ATI Application profiles, which ATI calls "ATI Catalyst 10.6 Profiles Update." I currently have the drivers Alienware included with the machine (so not the latest ones from ATI), and was not clear on whether installing the 10.6 Profiles is OK or not. If they would conflict with my current drivers for some reason, it would be great if someone on the forums could confirm that for me~

    Thanks!
    SFM

I've been using the 10.6 profiles with 10.5a for a while with no issues. I don't think the profiles are generally dependent on the driver version, they're just custom crossfire settings for specific games.

Thanks for the quick reply! I went ahead and installed the latest profiles, and haven't seen any ill-effects!
