I'm having some weird issues with framerates being worse on my lappy screen then when the lappy is outputting to a screen.

not to mention I can no longer switch graphics.

I need to re-install drivers and somehow delete the old ones first, yet no matter which way I try to remove the old drivers, they never actually seem to actually delete.

can someone point in right direction to deleting drivers..?

    Thanks

Select the graphics card in the Device Manager.
RIght click, select "properties". Therefrom, there shall be a button that sais "Uninstall".

That should remove the driver, afterwards, reboot.
When you start up, Windows Update might install an driver for you (you should be notified), just turn off Windows Update if so happens.

and to further add to what scott said, when the computer reboots in VGA mode after the video driver uninstall, run driver cleaner to get rid of the last bits left behind. Then install the latest drivers

With ATI cards it works best if you start by going tio Control Panel>Uninstall a Program and then right click on and remove AMD Catalyst Install Manager, selecting the option to remove all ATI/AMD software installed on the computer. After rebooting, then proceed to Device Manager if another AMD driver is loaded from the driver repository and repeat if necessary until only the VGA Device is installed for each graphics cards. Then go with Driver Sweeper (safe mode), etc.
