Hey guys
Another problem with the m17x-R2. Everytime I play a youtube video, my screen freezes a little and the message that my driver has stopped working but recovered pops up. I can never get the youtube videos to work.
This problem happened after I updated my firefox and later reinstalled adobe flash player.
Anyone got this prob?

this only happens with mozilla firefox btw
-
Maybe use other browsers. MY driver stopped responding happens everyday when i first boot my laptop. Yes, everyday.
-
ok..
I might just try to reinstall the dell drivers again. Anyone knows how to do it properly? Do i have to uninstall the original drivers first? -
try disabling the 'powerplay' checkmark in the catalyst control centre
-
Are you using Flash 10.1? This only happens to me when I use that version. I had to revert back to an older version for everything to work fine. However, I didn't try disabling powerplay at the time.

i get this problem also at least once a day. sucks i wish ati would make better drivers for there cards. i had the same problem with my alienware m5790 wich has the ati x1900m .

Try another browser. FYI, flash Player still doesn't work on 64-bit IE.
-
disabling powerplay is a bad idea. period.

The problem is the new version of flash player and the stock dell ati drivers
(wont do it in cat 10.6, but 10.6 has other issues)
To fix, use older flash player, or right click on a flash video, choose settings
and uncheck hardware acceleration, and your good to go.. -
Hey guys
I was just wondering if the driver updates have fixed this issue. I noticed that when I disable hardware acceleration, the audio and video of youtube videos are out of sync. -
Anyone else still having this problem?
I've got the extrem 920 processors and the 5870 cf.
ATI driver stopped working
