Posted this on the Dell forums as well. This needs to urgently be fixed. I have talked to three people on the phone and they aren't even aware there is a console trade-in program going on so they are absolutely NO HELP.

    QUOTE

It has been broken since last night and I am VERY worried about getting my consoles submitted for the rebates.

The error message it throws is

    "An error occured! Page /Modules/DeliveryLabelsFedEx/EditCollectionData.aspx
Message The customer id should no be 0."

It looks like the module for FedEx integration is broken. Please fix !!! I have tried from different email addresses and it all does the same thing. Thinking it might have considered my address malformed I attempted with a friend's address who happened to already submit theirs and same error. It's definitely broken server-side.

EDIT: I realize this isn't DIRECTLY related to one of the listed notebooks however the Dell reps check this sub-forum frequently and it was a notebook purchase.

What does FedEx have to do with Alienware trade-in program?

    Probably third party to avoid.

They have an integration module that prints out a FedEx label for you to return it to them.

I literally emailed every contact I have at dell, their Twitter, Facebook, etc. Finally got ahold of someone who knew what I was talking about and gave me some contact information for Dataserv which is the 3rd party company Dell partnered with to handle this.

    email: [email protected]
    609-235-0867

No extension on that list goes to anyone, that email address doesn't get replied to.

On top of all of this there is an unacknowledged thread on Dell's own forums with people reporting sending devices in over 90 days ago that were verified being received and NEVER getting a payout.

    This is ridiculous.

Thanks! I received an email back from someone else earlier and they said it was looked into and fixed. Unfortunately I am now out of town and don't have the ability to test it. Hopefully it is fixed and stays fixed until I get back :)
