    Hey all,

Haven't got my AW 17 w/4700MQ and Nvidia 780m yet. Expected delivery 3/25 but this is a 3Dmark11 score of my current "old" Custom Desk top running an i7 930 @ 3.8 with a 660ti at 1096/1547. Never pushed the 660ti but decided to sell the rig.

I have seen a few 3Dmark11 score for a similar build I am receiving at about 7900 overall. Any idea how much more I can expect out of the AW?

You should see between 7500 and 8000, stock. Desktop and laptop cards are very different - they may do the same thing, but they're really two different creatures altogether. With an unlocked VBIOS and a heavy overclock, you can exceed 10000 with the 780M (and with a Mobile Extreme CPU). I'm assuming you would see a little bit less with the 4700MQ, but your CPU will handle gaming just fine.

you should get better gaming experience. The 780m has more cuda cores, more memory, more memory bandwidth, more shader units, etc. the 680m is a rebranded 660 ti, so you should be able to find comparisons of 780 vs 680
