    Hi all,

I've got a question regarding my AMD radeon 7970. It feels that I'm not able to play the latest (from 1 year untill now) games and I've the feeling my drivers are not updated correctly. My current version is 8.934.2.0, 3-7-2012. Im not a PC expert and when I try to update in manually it often results in a fail. When I check up my pc with alienatopsy, everything passes.

    For example:
    unable to play:
BF4 on normal settings (<15 fps)
    Dayz: (<15fps)
    Minecraft doenst run smooth
Wildstar low fps on normal settings
    etc etc

    More info:
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHz
    6 gb ram
    AMD Radeon HD 7970M 2gb

If you need more information, I'm willing to give it.

Kind regards and greatful for your help,

    Sam

Your drivers are outdated... To update, you need to do a clean install of these stock drivers... So uninstall everything, run driver sweeper and cc cleaner (registry bit). Install these AMD drivers...

    Driver Details | Dell US

Just download the 1st file and not the update package.

Once that is done download these modded 14.6 RC2 drivers with switchable graphics fix... Always download the latest drivers from there..
Modded Catalyst 14.6 RC2 (switchable graphics fix) - Guru3D.com Forums

    Install these and your sorted.

You should be able to install the 14.6 beta drivers or the 14.4 release drivers from the AMD site. Those are the ones I'm running right now.

When completed all the steps and I reboot, I get the following message:

could not load file or assembly 'mom.implementation' or one of its dependencies.

When trying to open catalyst, it says the following:

Could not load file or assembly 'CLI.Implementation' or one of its dependencies.
