Basicially when running the 680M on the AW it would always spam nolimit on afterburner when OCed, when runnign on stock speeds it runs absolutely fine. Even when doing a 50mhz OC, the graphicscard will perform worse than stock.

Is this some EC BS I'm not aware of yet?

I had the same thing with the 680M on my R2, I think its the vBIOS Dell provided which causes it.

I run mine on a vbios from svl7 I got from techinferno. I found that even on the highest overvolt version I could achieve a +200mhz easily, without going over 75c.

What temp is it running at? Is it throttling the clock to something other that P0?

Did fiddle with the vBios some more and in the end made it work!

needs coolingpad and some mods to not thermal throttle. GPU is sadly slightly thermal throttling.

I found this card runs very cool. At stock it never breaks 70c and even on a max overvolt and +220mhz it stays under 75c. Throttle point 78c IIRC. I'd be checking the pads and contact, maybe there is something 'wonky' there??

Well no, the card is OCed to 1GHZ and has around the same TDP as a GTX 880M. with stock heatsinks etc. temps are high 80s - low 90s.

    depending on 680M model thats roughly a 300 - 350mhz OC.
