Do the last gen AW17's (with MQ processors, pre-amplifier) have a mSATA or M.2? If they're M.2, does an adapter properly line up and work to run an mSATA drive?

The new Echo 17 comes equipped with the M.2 and a regular SATA 2.5" port for HDD/SSD's.

I'd go for the 840 evo if going for an MSATA drive by the way.

I purchased a Crucial M500 for an unbelievable deal last year. Certainly prefer Samsung for my desktop stuff, but my notebooks are mentally "disposable" so I buy cheap stuff.

Well the evo series is pretty cheap and it stays cooler than the crucial drives.
