    AW17 Gtx 780m modded vbios question/issue

    **FIXED** Used graphics switch to change between on board and dedicated. Showed as modded once switched back to dedicated


    Hey guys

    I've decided to try modding my 780m with svl7's unlocked vbios. All seemed to go well, flash finished fine and said successful however when I get back into windows and check nvidia inspector it's still showing as the original stock bios not the newly flashed unlocked one and all of options are limited as they are at stock. What I don't get is if I go back into nvflash it shows the bios as being the unlocked one.

    Am I missing something? Its the first time I've modded my vbios so I figure it's something I've just not done.

    Be careful with those unlocked vbios's , were seeing a lot of GPU's exploding with no real cause other then most people are using "unlocked" vbios.

    Thanks for the advice. I was using it to troubleshoot my GPU so I could underclock rather than overclock
