For quite a while, I've turned Express Charge off and only had it on Normal Charge in the BIOs, and I can't say I've ever made the correlation and just thought the battery was shot, only charging to 80%~

Well, I recently upgraded to 120hz and swapped settings to be in PEG mode, I happened to notice it and changed settings back to Express Charge for giggles, and now it's reporting charging to 100%

Anyone have any insight on this?

Could be a thing to preserve battery health, IIRC batteries stay a lot healthier if you stay away from the top/bottom 20% of their capacity. That being said, reducing battery capacity by 20% seems a bit excessive(The bottom 20% is a much worse for it than the top 20%).
