Is there any possibility to set the inactivity timer less than 1 minute?

I am trying to emulate proper keyboard backlighting. On my Qosmio 18", I could set it in bios to 10-15-20 secs and keyboard would light up when stroked regardless of (in)activity in windows.

If you are doing browsing or watching movies, it is done with mouse mostly. The keyboard does not need to light up whenever you touch the mouse, and it definitely does not need to light up for 1 minute!

At present, I created a theme and set up lights only to keyboard. However, this presents another problem. Activity lights cannot be set to dark and neither the spotlight power button right in the middle of the screen (without going to dark mode where you lose all lighting, including the keyboard backlights)!

Anyone has or thought any workarounds?

I think it's either on or off. Personally I have it off.
