My M17x R3 has this weird problem, when plug the AC adapter into my laptop, the LED light starts to blink and some weird noise also come each time the light blinks, my laptop battery is not being charged when it is plugged in. I tried to restart my laptop with the AC adapter plugged in then the battery started charging normally and no noise. But when I plugged out the AC adapter and plug it back in, the problem came back again. To solve this problem, I have to restart my laptop everytime I plug my AC adapter into the laptop.
This is weird, is this a hardware or a software issue? or is this an AC adapter issue? Has anyone experienced this problem before?

Note that after no charging for a few minutes, the power starts to switch to AC adapter and starts charging the battery
    Please help me
    thanks

you have to do a powerdrain.

shut off the laptop, unplug it, take the battery out, then click on the power button for 1 minute.

This should set everything back to normal
