I recently bought a Logitech G35 gaming headset, and I was trying to figure out to make it work in the control panel's audio section and I hit "remove" on the default audio codec. Now I have no sound through the laptop's speakers.

    What I have left is:

    Independent (R.T.C.) Headphones

    and

    HDMI

Is there anyway I could get it back? Like is there a place where I could download the file or am I screwed?

    Please help.

Right, just do as Katalin says; go to Dell's driver download site (preferably NOT your so-called resource disk) for the latest audio driver. Place the installer .exe (it will be something like R(some number).exe and look like a blue Dell "E" icon) on your desktop when you open/run it and let it unzip to its default folder, which will be a numbered one that will land in a ...\dell\drivers directory that I'll bet is already in your Windows installation. It should be quite easy.
