it says on the first page after clicking the r3 that the starting weight is 9.39lbs and 9.67lbs with the 3D panel.

after clicking to the next page though it says the weight is 11.68lbs.

which is it lol? i was wondering if users with different configs could post the actual weight of their laptops? :)

(please link me to this if it's already been discussed)

    Thanks

It weighs the same as my 7811fx maybe a tiny bit more. So, def not that 11+ lbs.

Mine is the 3d one with the standard 320 gb. Weighs about ~9.5-10lbs. That's more of an estimation, from me standing on my scale, then on my scale while holding my lappy.

Btw, it definitely is 10lbs or less, the r2 is the 11.68lb one (actually closer to 12). m18x is around the same weight as the r2, give or take a pound

yeah i saw that the m18 says it's starting at 11.93lbs, so i was , where's the weight diff..?

guess it's not a huge weight diff, but i'm sure 2+lbs makes a difference on a daily basis.

    thanks for the info guys..

anyone else, feel free to post weights/configs just for the heck of it :)
