Hi, I was going to purchase my Alienware M17x today, but when I changed the video card from NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660M to AMD Radeon™ HD 7970M, a message appeared saying:

"The selection - Alienware M17x 180W A/C Adapter is incompatible with Video Card".

The problem is, I don't see where I can change the A/C Adapter to another one, and the ones that I can select as extra ones don't say if they're compatible with the video card. This is the only thing that's stopping me from purchasing it so I would like some help please.

    Thanks.

Hmm, I had this issue to. I called a dell rep with my build config and they assured me all would be correctly configured. You might also pull a discount by calling in and negotiating the price. And yes all was correct upon arrival.
