Ive been contemplating adding a second hard drive to my R2 to complement my SSD. Ill be Mainly using it to store Pictures/Videos and other non gaming files.

Ive been looking at few HDDs on Newegg, Mainly this one
    Newegg.com - Seagate Momentus 7200.4 ST9320423AS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive -Bare Drive.

I am Worried about the heat generated by this HD. My question is; Should I be? The newegg reviews say that it puts out a good deal of heat and if I recall the 2nd HD is Close to the Chipset.

No.. In fact, I have two momentus 500GB drives in my M17x right now. Dell uses them from the factory, They're fine. Newegg reviews are a load most of the time. People upgrade to a 7200rpm drive from their wimpy 4200 drives and think it's the end of the world. Without realizing that the Drive they bought spins faster. Besides, their laptops also don't have air ventilation to the HDD.
