    Hi,
I'm got no experience of adding hardware. So how easy is it to add another harddisk & which one do you recommend? I've nearly filled my current one (about 8GB left). My specs are below.

    Many thanks & Cheers!
    Russ :)

Installing a new HDD is very easy.
You'll have to ask Dell for a 2nd HDD installation kit(adapter) if you do not already have one. I'd recommend buying a Seagate momentus (any size you want) it's just my preference. Theoretically any HDD should be compatible with your laptop.

Look up a link for correct HDD installation on notebook review, there are many out there.

    TONS of threads about this.
    Just search.....

But, any 9.5mm thick 2.5" harddrive (SATA) will fit just fine.
You probably have the HD caddy in your system already (with interposer).
Just open it up to check (the interposer is usually taped under the HD caddy so just remove it to check).

You can also JUST fit a 1TB 12.5mm thick 2.5" HD if you break a little tab that the HD caddy fits under (also can find info about this through a search).

There are also tutorials to help you in taking apart the system if you are not familiar (search again) etc.....

    etc...
    etc...

    Good luck and have fun

    D.
