    Hi everyone,

When I learned I could add a second HDD ontop of my 256GB mSata and 750GB HD I went online and bought a Seagate 1TB 2.5" 5400RPM 64MB Cache Solid State Hybrid Drive (ST1000LM014).

This is my first time adding a HD myself and I know it's super easy to install it based on what I say in the manual. However, my only question is if there is anything I need to know in regards to setting it up once it's physically installed? Do I need to go into the BIOS and change anything? And specs on this HD claim it's 5x faster than a standard 5400rpm drive so I'm curious if it would be okay to use for installing games and and programs rather than just for extra storage which was my original intent..

Games and applications would be the best things to install on it, yeah.

As for setup, not really. Physically install it, and double-check in your BIOS to make sure your mSATA drive is still your first boot device. When you're in Windows, right-click on Computer, hit Manage, Disk Management, right-click your drive, and create a new simple volume using all the space on the drive. Then it'll show up as a normal drive.

You can add another one too :)
removing the dvd drive will allow for 3 standard hdds and a msata ssd

Wow that's pretty cool I will admit. However, trashing my bluray drive defeat the purpose of paying the extra for one lol. Though I hardly use my dvd drive..
