    So after talking on the phone to an Alienware agent for about an hour, he actually convinced me to bite it after giving me a great discount. Here is the quote.

    That's a pretty spot on deal. I personally never upgrade the CPU above the i7 base QM CPU on a mobile unit because the processors are pretty overpowered to the GPUs as is. The i7 3630QM for example could handle HD7970M CrossFire without bottlenecking but hey if you got the cash for it, the price is really spot on.

    It can but its more expensive.

    The CPU is nice, the 4800MQ has quite a jump over the 4700MQ, especially after using the partial unlock.

    it has the turbo multipliers unlocked and power limits

    same as the difference between 36xxQM and 37xxQM

    Yes so the 4700MQ can be set to maximum 3.4ghz when all cores are active, the 4800Mq can be set to 3.9ghz.
