    Hi guys!

    (Firstable sorry for my bad English!)

    About 3 mounth ago I bought Alienware M17x r2 on e-bay! I had had no problem for 3 weeks, and then I decided to reinstall Windows 7! After that all lights on my Alienware did not work... When I start control center there is a warning ( Microsoft .NET Framework). So I tried everythink installed old versions of CC, installed all versions of Framework (3.5, 4.0), installed SDK, all drivers... NO change, they still do not work... Also I saw in my device manager that I have one unknown device (id: "USB\UNKNOWN").
    But there is another problem.. when I bought my Alienware I did not get any of recovery cds.

    1.I am looking for any information where to get (buy,download...) these recovery files...

    2.If you have any advice how to get my lights to work, please HELP me!

    Thank you very very much!

    go to "Support.dell.com," input your service tag, and you will need to download and install the Alieware OSD. That will enable control of the shiny colors.

    Have you installed all updates through Windows Update? That should take care of all needed .net framework-software, etc... Then it should only be needed to install the Alienware Command Software ontop of that.

    What is the error you're getting?

    - Scott.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    I got the same problem, but after I updated the Command Center, so the lights do work but are stuck on my old colour and I cannot change them. Anyone found a solution to this problem?
