MSI Afterburner will show all your sensors. You can also get a phone app to monitor your usage/temp from your phone/tablet which I find priceless. Also CONGRATS! I've only had mine about 2 weeks and I'm still ogling over it :)

Make a backup of the system with a USB using AlienRespawn. Should be the 1st thing you do.

Hope you enjoy the new system.

Not sure how they measure up??

Temp wise.. Idle about 50's for CPU max load 70-80.. Card peaks at about 84 when benchmarking

What monitor did you end up getting?

Device Manager -> Monitors -> Properties (on Generic PnP Monitor or whatever is listed) -> Details tab -> Hardware IDs

I still cannot believe the 880M has 8GB's of vRAM, lol.

Pretty good benchmarks so far. If you really want to push it, use svl7's unlocked & modded vBIOS on TechInferno. You will probably see a good 20% boost in performance.

Nope no overclocking, all stock, I have the 4910mq.. Maybe that's why? Eh monitor is an AU Optronics model AUO219D if that helps??

So far I've been playing Titan fall and skyrim I haven't noticed any lag.. So I'll prolly not OC anytime soon.. It slices through everything like butter.. I haven't tried watchdogs yet tho so wells see :))

How do you like the screen? That's the new one. Some places have stated they see vertical lines others don't.

I haven't seen anything at all.. Then again Titan fall is really fast paced.. Haha yeah this is my all in one computer.. So I do homework and papers on it as well as games for break time.. Highly recommended no regrets here :)). I haven't tried any Pixar/dreamworks movies on it.. I find that animation really brings out the screens quality.. My iPad retina looks pretty good.. I'll update when I watch one and maybe do a side by side

Question... So when I run battlefield 3.. The alien fx goes what I'd say sorta hay wire.. It changes from white to pink or red.. But sometimes it changes according to the game.. Like if I get shot.. It changes red and what not.. Is that normal??? Like part of the game ?? I usually have it on one color with no effects because I want the LED's to last.. Has anyone experienced this..??

Thats part of the game, you can disable it if you want. There are a list of games here in the forum that supports AlienFX. Imo I actually like it because its useful when playing hardcore, unfortunately alienfx doesn't support bf4 yet. As far as the LED lasting, don't worry about it because leds lifespan will surpass the life of your laptop anyways, but like I said it can be disabled.

This may sound daft, but I use screen cleaner. It's completely removed smudges and fingerprint marks. The palm rest gets on my nerves as it attracts every single finger print stroke or palm rest.

Hmm... So all of a sudden GPU-Z no longer displays my temperature for my 880gtx?? It was just a few days ago... Any reason why this might be?

Have you flashed a vbios or over clocked? Instal HWINFO to see what's going on.

Nope I haven't messed with any of that.. HWIN which I'm assuming is the GPU thermometer under compal EC.. reads it at average of 52.. Max of 75.. It usually runs 60-70 when playing Titan fall.. Been playing borderlands 2 which is not as intensive.. I just don't understand how the value disappeared all of a sudden

I honestly just put a dab of water on a microfiber cloth and it works.
