    Alien ware m17x r2 Charger

    Hi guys
    Im new to this forum and new to alien ware as well , please guide me along the way

    well ... im facing a problem here
    my Alien ware m17x r2 charger got burned few days ago ,
    is it better for me to buy a new one or to send it to Dell to repair , i still got the warranty (270 + days)
    but when i ask my friend , he said that repaired charger is not good and dell will charge me about 100 to repair the stuff

    what should i do ?


    If i have to buy the new charger , can i buy other type of charger that could support the M17 r2 and where can i buy it . The price for a new charger for M17x r2 on dell shop is about 150 USD already

    After getting this baby and buy BF 3 ... i dun have much money now (X.X)

    Hey there trungtoto,

    If you still have warranty and your AC power adapter has fried or died then Dell should and will replace it for you with a new one.

    Give them a call and explain to them what happen or that the AC power adapter is dead. They might get you to do some testing to confirm and then hopefully they will issue out a new one and send it out to you.
