    Hello,
I had to reinstall AW Command Center but after the reinstall the AlienFX screen shows the wrong color of my M17x. I have the black one but as you can see on the attached image, AlienFX shows the red model. Is there any way I can chage that image back to the black model? Thank you.

    Thanks for the response.
I thought that there might be something in the registry that I would be able to tweak so it shows the corect model and color but maybe not.

Sorry for the double post but I found the solution to my own question so I thought I share it just in case anyone elese has a similar issue.

Pretty much all you have to do is in the registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ALIENWARE\SYSTEM) create a new string value named "ChassisColor"(if there isn't one already) and give it a value of "Black" "Red" or "Silver" depending on your chassis color. Now the Alienware Comand Center will display the correct chassis color for your M17x system.
