Basically, I've been cleaning up my machine using AlienRespawn to back up system images from time to time. I noticed every time I restored an image certain things would be reinstalled, such as desktop icons or folders that I deleted prior to making the image. Other odd things keep happening like the start menu highlighting options as if they were never used...

Am I doing something wrong when creating backup images? It's very frustrating to keep undoing certain things every time I restore my laptop... Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Hmm... then perhaps someone can explain an error AlienRespawn gives every time it's scheduled to do an automatic backup: "An unhandled exception has occured. Application will now close."

    Any ideas?
