Hi guys, please read whole post to help, I have an m17x r4 and since I got it I bought the Alienrespawn premium version

I restored twice a full image in last year when needed but then last month it failed pretty bad because I had a program that I pay each time remote installation. So after unsuccessful restore of full image with Alienrespawn I reset to factory defaults, updated everything, created new image with Alienrespawn, then installed TrueImage (which works flawlessly in my work's desktop PC) and created a full system image with TI. .

Then rebooted in Acronis recovery environment to test the image but the PC impossible to boot, really messed up with blue screen, so next step was to reset again to factory defaults. After I did that I reinstalled TrueImage and created an image of only one partition, my C:\ (OS) and leave other three out (recovery, ssd and mbr I think).

But again the restoration of only C: partition with TI was unsuccessful, I think true image messes with drive letters, as on recovery environment I could see the image that I created but I could only restore it on my OS drive that true image renamed to D:\

So I saw Acronis recommended and here for the Alienware, however without changing its settings it failed, even though I validated the backup. I used default settings (not sector-sector). One thing that I could think that made it go wrong is that I didn't uninstall the AlienRespawn, which is not reliable, as I can't anymore restore my full image only the factory default.

If you know any Acronis setting that may help me, or otherwise please recommend me a reliable program to keep only 3 or 4 full system images that I need, thanks.

I found a reliable working backup program and I have new question now:

    - if I uninstall completely AlienRespawn, would I still be able to factory reset through the usb stick? Or the usb that contains factory image, works only with AlienRespawn installed?
