Hey guys, I'm new to this forum thing. But anyways i need some help regarding GPU update. So My Alienware M17x R2 came with 2 GPUs for crossfire. The GPUs are ATI Mobility HD 5870. So the thing is, when i used AMD auto detect to update my CCC ( catalyst control center) and my gpu drivers, my video card changed to AMD HD 5800 series. Now the bad thing is, when i run crossfire on a game Example; CSGO, the entire screen shutters and the weird thing is when i reverted back to using 1 gpu, it was fine. Another problem was recently, my ccc won't allow me to enable or disable crossfire anymore. Anyone else have a issue like this?

BTW: I did do a clean install of the drivers 3 times and its still happening.

Thanks man ! Yeah i Tried it and it seems to work a lot better now. Btw, I recently launched overwatch and my GPU temperatures aren't being displayed. You ever experience something like this?

That is probably a problem between your drivers and your vbios.

As said, best to use an older driver since your gpu's are quite old and you in xfire.
    Good luck :)

Yeah I did alittle more digging towards my Bios. Apparently alot of people had the same issues as i did but it turned out that the BIOS needed to be updated
