So recently i replaced the LCD assembly on my Ranger, it no longer gives me a charging light on the palmrest, or any real indication of working. Tried with a spare 240W AC adapter from someone else in addition to my own, tore the whole laptop down and reassembled it just to be safe, no luck. Checked under the board for any long screw damage and didnt see any. Anyone run into this before?

I had a similar problem the first time I removed the palmrest, it was just the power button not making contact, I removed the palmrest again and made sure that nothing was in the way (check the cables running from the left hinge) and that all the clips, especially those around the power button, clicked.

Tried reseating the flexes on the palmrest, keyboard one almost seemed loose but no improvement. Im doing this at work and i actually forgot the battery at home, so im going to have to go get that to see if it might just be an issue charging

EDIT: I tested it at home with the battery, it still wasn't working, i was able to run it off of the AC adapter only before IIRC.

God im dumb. Power button cable got lodged under the keyboard, i thought it was wired through the keyboard into the junction board, turns out it actually routes thought the card reader board.

Getting the 5 beep which iirc is normal with the 120hz upgrade, so back to the regularly scheduled program i suppose.
