Every time I turn on my computer, my "Alienware" light and speaker lights start blinking, like they're set to pulse. They are NOT set to pulse and the effect goes away by hitting FN+F11 twice (to disable and re-neable AlienFX). I'll be surfing the web and the blinking will come back, too. I have no clue why this is happening. I'm using someone's lighting theme from these boards and it was fine until two days ago, and then this started happening. Any ideas?
EDIT: My damn brightness keeps going to the lowest %. Any ideas?

Reinstall Command Center and see if that resolves the issues. For the brightness issue, did you try 'reset to default' in the AlienFusion screen for the current power profile? Either way, a reinstall of command center using the current version from support.dell.com should resolve both.
As an alternative, close the current theme, open a new one and apply. See if that resolves the FX issues and then try the above mentioned Fusion reset. -
Thanks. I'll try that.

And disable 3rd party access to AlienFX (via the right click on the systray icon)
