    Alienware - black screen

    Hey guys, I just bought a brand new alienware m17x laptop. I have been using it for about two days, and the only things I have installed are a few steam games and AVG. For some reason, after the computer finishes starting up and makes little "windows log in screen" sound, the screen just stays black. I can see my cursor but nothing else. The computer works perfectly fine on safe mode.

    If this helps: I have been getting bluescreen errors that say IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Maybe that has something to do with it?
