    hey guys ! Got my alienware 17 8beeps problems tried everyting reset cmos replace lcd kabels i have an m17x with a 260m card inside can it work to test if my gpu is dead the current 765m

    Did you use EVGA PrecisionX before the problem occurred? If so, the problem is probably the EDID of your LCD. Talk to @t456 for a way to fix it.

    Took a quick look around, some people have found that this was due from a faulty GPU. You may want to try the 260M and see if you can at least see something.
