    Hi every one,

I have questions about the alienware 17. I have windows 7.

    1) When i hit FN+F1 buttons, my computers opens up windows normal screen resolution screen. Is this normal ? I tough it would toggle between possible display setting without using a menu. Also, I do not get a the normal On screen display of using the FN key.

    2) When i plug the laptop into the TV, the laptop will auto-detect and send the picture to the TV no problem. But if i change channels and return to the "video channel" that the laptop is plugged into, it will not send the picture to the TV. The laptop doesnt seem to detect the tv any more as a display choice. Could this be a driver issue or option to change ? I have tried many HMDI cables and this doesn't seem to be a problem with other computers.

I am wondering if my issues in question 1 & 2 are maybe related ? My intel drivers are the stock 9.18.10.3071 and my gtx780m drivers are the 326.41

    3) Last question is on another subject. I just bought the router asus RT-AC66U to get faster wireless speed but my wireless connection seems to be stuck on N and not AC. Any one have an idea what I could do to change my connection to AC ? I am using the broadcom 6.30.95.31 drivers and I have the latest firmware for the router.

    Thx for any help !

    Jo

    1) that's normal
    2) It may be because the display is no longer displaying so it has to be reset by reconnecting the cable.
    3) Have you checked the configuration on the Wireless Adapter (device manager). Here is more info about the AC Wireless Setup
