    This is the model

    Alienware 17 ALW17-6877sLV 17-Inch Gaming Laptop

    and these are the specs

    • Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor (6MB Cache, up to 3.4GHz w/ Turbo Boost)
    • 16 GB DDR3L SDRAM
    • 750 GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
    • 17-Inch Screen
    • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    I believe it's a NVidia 7200 series video card and 3gb?

    Looking to play black dessert online on ultra settings

    I don't think that's the video card unless you installed it yourself. You can try GPU-Z to get the right details of the card.

    So far, a SSD is the only thing that comes to my mind. The rest of the specs seem fine.

    If you do have that video card, you may want to try a 780m. I have seen people with the 980m as well but we don't officially support it.

    It's actually GTX 770M now that I checked my device manager... Is it hard to install a new one? No experience .

    well, if Dell/Alienware updated the BIOS for the AW17 R1 like they did for the AW18 then it wouldn't have been an issue.
