    So once my new beast arrives, is it possible to use an external monitor, for a bigger screen?

    You know close down the laptop in almost sleep mode, & have the display on a new monitor via HDMI or sorts?

    Yes you can use the hdmi plug or the display ports to use your external screen.

    You can set it to turn off, or you can just have it mirror what your looking at... or you can set it as a secondary display so you can game and surf the web at the same time :)
