    Alienware 17 POST issues & freeze on windows loading

    no.. not the ordinary software freeze of windows

    rest assured .. I am not the guy who asks about repairing his windows installation :D

    - the laptop hangs just after the start of loading windows even the recovery cds and tools based on windows PE and windows installation disks on bios and uefi

    - Linux boots perfect with every dist i throw at it

    - uefi boot sometimes doesn't load Linux but bios always do

    now .. the history of the issue

    the i/o board fan connector got broken , so i repaired it my self and worked perfectly

    -after some time changed to dedicated gfx mode and the screen had some yellow stripes and restarted which after the dedicated gfx and even HDMI had stuttering with insane latency which the igpu didn't

    -after a year or so the screen went black .. no post .. 7 beebs > a few times then it works

    -i heated the intel chip and installed a copper piece to help cool it down .. it worked for some time but the windows issue above appeared

    - it went all down with 7 beebs with no sighn of life .. i striped down the mb and heated it till reflowed .. cooled it down .. and voila ..no 7 beebs at all ..

    - the windows issue still there !
    - when trying to update the bios officially -with all bios versions- i get : insydeh20 secure flash invalid firmware image
    - when trying to flash the unlocked bios in dos i get : error 28 protected range registers are currently set by bios

    - both gfx cards work fine in linux with less lag and stuttering in the games that work on wine as far as i remember

    - linux works as smooth as butter , but the windows booting issue still hogs my brain

    *i want to program the chips but i cant locate them .. poining them out on a motherboard's photo will help and also the files to program with
