    Hello
    I have Alienware 17 R1 with 120Hz screen and GTX 780M. Fully working.
    When I change the video card to GTX 980M(vbios 84.04.35.00.05) it beeping 8 times with black screen.

    Is there a way to make it work?

    Drain power from system, remove cmos.

    Should aim for 5 beeps, if you do, reset while holding Fn key.hold key until it auto restarts.
