If you’ve never flashed a vBIOS then make sure you read up on how to do it properly. It’s usually pretty easy but making a mistake can result in a bricked card.
Dell Support should have the vBIOS files for the 980M under the AW18 Drivers and Downloads. I’m not sure if you can use these to flash your card. You may have to go to TechPowerUp and download NVFlash and a compatible vBIOS.

TechPowerUp will have a long list of vBIOS’ for the 980M. I’m just out at the moment so it’s a little hard to look them up for you.
Search for the 980M and also select the unverified uploads box to give more options. Any Dell or Alienware vBIOS should work. You’ll also need to install NVFlash. If you google how to use Nvflash then you should find some good guides.
Also search this Alienware forum as there would be a few threads relating to the 980M vBIOS.
