    Alienware 17 Ranger Blue lines ( Gtx 980m)

    Hey guys i disabled iGPU prior to overclocking i have a problem i am getting blue lines after I overclocked gpu memory +200mhz the pc frooze so i shutdown the pc but then i am getting blue lines on screen and no display in windows 10
    I even restored the settings from msi after burner tried reflashing vbios still same also tried unplugging the gpu and booting laptop which works fine plugged in back the gpu same issue i have tried holding power button (30sec) no solution
    Detect in Bios
    I am am able to install driver as well
    What shall i do at this points

    No, it can not,VGA needs to be changed and if its socketed on the motherboard then the entire mb needs to be changed.

    Laptop is working fine on intel gpu.
    Alienware 17 R1 980m when i disable intel 980m works but with blue line

    Yes, the 980M is dead, but the iGPU is working as intended.

    Of course, is it worth it? No.

    Cheaper and more efficient to replace the MXM card in the Ranger.

    just for future upgrades do i need
    120hz and edP for
    1060m and unlocked bios(i don't wanna go for unlocked bios)

    For the billionth time unlocked bios isn't needed.
