I recently got my 17 and I'm really happy with it apart from a few annoying issues.

    My issues are:
    • The Wifi it will connect and then sometimes it won't find the network that's really close and when it connects it's very slow I've tried to get new drivers and go to other networks and its still the same. It seems to throttle the speed when its connected as well.
    • The screen I've got a really strange line at the top of the screen its hard to describe, its like when you made a box in windows XP on the desktop but really thin and only taking up the top mm of the screen buts it's present in games and the desktop and it wont show up on screenshots

I'm really not sure whats causing these issues but I want to try and get them ironed out before my 7 day cooling off period ends thanks for the help.

If you can not make a screenshot of the line as well as it is not visible when you connect to your TV, but can be seen on the laptop screen even in BIOS - this is 99% faulty screen.

    Call and get warranty

If it is a bad wifi card then that takes less than 5 minutes to change and the screen isn't a whole lot harder. If that does not fix it then it is probably the board and then I would demand a new system.

Thanks I just used the ones from the DELL site and its still not playing ball and the screen is still not working correctly. I think I will call DELL over the weekend and see what they can do about it. It's a shame as everything else is working great.
