Hi i own M15x and i replaced the wifi card with Intel 6300 wheni bought it.
Recently i purchased Alienware 17 and comparing wifi speed between the two. Alienware 17 shows one bar less and speedtest.net suggests a difference in speed too. The wifi which is installed in Alienware 17 is the one available on purchase online. Broadcom 4352 802.11 ac 2x2 and Bluetooth 4.0

I am confused here. should i change my wifi card or what ??

    Hi

Yes the 6300n is a better wifi card, higher speeds are possible compared to the Broadcom card dell supply

The only thing you need to be aware of is you will lose Bluetooth capability if you install the 6300.

The Broadcom unit is a dual unit wifi/Bluetooth

    Thanks

    Ian

The intel 7260AC is currently the most popular card.

    Over the 6300? Isn't it a 2 antenna card?
