    Hi everybody,

At first, i would like to thank the owners of this boards, it's really usefull, i'll will try to help as often as i'll be able for AW owners in this section.

My new alienware 17 will be at home on monday, and i would like to new if someone could tell me if the HDD WD20NPVT fom Western Digital will be compatible with the new AW17 ?

It may sounds stupid, but this HDD is 2TB but it's also higher than the regular 2"1/2 HDD, it's actually 15mm.

Thanks in advance for your help, i'll follow this boards, and i'll also try to post when i'll upgrade this amazing laptops to let you know about compatibilities ;)

You might have problems in fitting this HDD.
Most AW caddys have no room for 15mm hdds

what i would do is i would do some measurements Before i would purchase such a ''thing''

    good luck anyways :)
