Maybe it would be beneficial to provide some information about your work and explain how the great performance of your new Alienware 17 helps you get the job done better and faster. Perhaps the screen shots alone were not enough for others to appreciate how useful your machine is to your work. I wish I had an Alienware 17 for my business computer. It would be a LOT better than the wimpy Lenovo T430 that I have to use every day.

That's true, so here's the details.
I'm from Belgium, i'm 33 years old and working for an IT company.
My work consists of auditing IT infrastructure, fixing recurrent problems, mainly in Windows and Citrix environnement.
When the IT environnement of customers is stable, then, i have to propose them some improvements with Upgrades or new technologies.
As we have a lot and a lot of work, i don't really have time to follow all official educations courses, so, i'm using my Alienware 17 to virtualize IT environnement with new technologies, trying latest softwares, see if it can help my customers.
As those virtual machines requires a lot of performances, this is why i choosed Alienware 17, because i was able to tweak it for fast performance and choosing a very fast CPU and big RAMS modules. -
Just forgot to details the screens that i've posted :
I've installed a Citrix XenDesktop 7 environnement on my Alienware 17.
Xendesktop allows to create and deploy a windows 7 or windows 8 virtual desktops to users.
In my LAB at home, i've created a windows 8 desktops, and accessing it from my samsung galaxy tab 2 through my Citrix LAB.
For customers, that means that they can access them virtual desktops from anywhere, and always stay connected to work, even on holliday, crazy, but that's the reality -
Computers are just complex calculators. The better the hardware, the more math it can do. "Gaming PC" and "Office PC" and "Workstation" blah blah blah; these are more like suggested use titles than what they can actually do. Most can be used for the same thing, but in direct limits with the amount of math they do whether parallel for visuals or with sequential logic. All these names are just fluff IMO. A more accurate rating would be a relative scale for the current computational power available on the consumer market at the time. On a 1-10 scale gaming machines generally are a 5-8 with workstations being 9-10. For the most part, same-gen hardware can still do the same stuff, just one faster than the other. The usage is individualized while the labels are just suggestive.
