Hey guys! i just came back from the states and i brought an Alienware 17.

But it has a huge problem! all the games i play online, they warp!! its imposible to play! but the problem is online only, when i play solo it works like a charm!

My internet, router or modem aint the problem because i played the same games on my old computer and worked just fine, no warps no lag!

i tryied pluggin the computer to a wired conextion, but the computer does not read the cable, i don't know why!

Anyway i do sure hope that there is a solution for this problem, even though i search high and low for one without any luck.

    Please help me!

    BTW it has windows 8

I used to have this same problem with my m11x while playing bf2. I would be running, then my guy would warp 10 feet away.

Turned out if you go into the wireless card settings (i think in device manager)
then set "allow windows to turn off this device to save power"
this cleared up all issues I had with my m11x.... my m14x and m17x never had these problems, but I always changed that setting right out of the box.

Open Device Manager, by pressing Windows Key + R key combination and inputting devmgmt.msc in the Run dialog box and hit Enter

In the Device Manager, expand the wireless controllers, right click on the device and select Properties for which you’re facing the issue.

click the tab that says power managment.
unclick the box the says allow windows to turn off this device (so there is no check mark in the box)

click ok and then restart and try games.

It should be network adapters. Not wireless controller.
