My AW 17 is on the way !! :)

it has the mSATA 256 + 750 GB HDD

can I put in a second mSATA (with an adapter maybe) and do a raid 0?

Also any word on that brand and part number of the mSATA 256 it will show up with?

    thank you in advance.

It only has one mSATA port, so you can't have another. You can however do what I am doing and RAID a standard SSD with the mSATA, which will be fine as long as the SSD is the same brand.

    Actually I had 2 X mSATA 240GB Mushkin in mine (one of it was with a mSATA to 2.5" adapter); until I replaced with 1 mSATA 240GB + 1 512GB OCZ Vertex 4 + 2 X 1TB Samsung EVO = ~2.75 TB SSD :D

This is what I am talking about (though it is out of stock, you can search on ebay) http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816104035

Ah, yes...adapters. I can't confidently recommend that without first hand experience. Should work fine, though. Juliant seems to be an experienced member, so, I'd be willing to try it based off of that fact alone. ;)

That works, it's not the best thing but it can be used in the meantime until you get the proper setup.
