I have owned this new machine for a few months now and was getting fed up with the throttling so I flashed the vbios with the one from techinferno (svl7). I can now enjoy games with no throttling! But now I would like to overclock the card and see what it is capable of but every time I do, no matter what combo of core clock / mem clock using msi afterburner, random amounts of gaming make the display driver crash with message that the display driver stopped working. I rolled back to driver 331.93 and it seems to be a very stable driver by itself but still I cannot get any overclock to work for any amount of time. Any advice on how to proceed? If I stick with stock clocks, then I have no problems at all.

I am just happy that it no longer throttles lol

It's possible that you have a card that doesnt overclock well - you might need to get the voltage increased to get any higher clock to be stable.

He may not even know about the voltage or about the power %. Download nvidia inspector OP. and check out some of the extra settings there.
